Does Cakewalk Chicago have a physical store to shop at? 

Yes we do, and it’s amazing! 

Cakewalk Chicago is located at 1741 West 99th Street in the South Side Beverly neighborhood of Chicago.  It’s minutes away from  I55 S and easy to I294 with free street parking.  
 

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to browse – as there is so much to see.  (we totally recommend bringing a picnic lunch too, because you will want to spend hours here looking at all the entire range of fabulous goodies.

What are your store hours? 

Cakewalk Chicago is open to the public Wednesday Through Saturday.  Our Concierge Club is a paid annual membership that offers special shopping hours and member perks - so if you are having cake drama, or forgot that special item, or online shopping got you f'd up, or you work crazy hours yourself, then membership has it's privileges.

Our open to the public shopping  hours are:

Wednesday's 1:00pm -5:00pm 

Thursday's 1:00pm -6:00pm

Friday's 10:00am -5:00pm

Saturday's 10:00am -1:00pm

Changes to these hours because of world events may happen.  So please do check our Google listing and the website for up to the minute changes.

What is the best way to contact you?

The quickest way to receive an answer to your question is via the online chat or email.  We encourage you to leave a message as we would be delighted to answer your inquiry. We are not a call center so it is difficult to serve in person shoppers while manning the telephone. Because of this reason you will not find a telephone number listed on our website. Your chat message and email inquiries are monitored periodically during the day depending on the traffic in the shop and will be answered at our earliest convince and within 24 hours.   

Do you sell cakes at Cakewalk Chicago?

Nope! We don’t make custom cakes here (we hate doing dishes!), rather we are here to support you in YOUR cake making project.  Our role is to provide you with the ingredients, tools and equipment for you to create your own cakes. 

We do however, have some tricks up our sleeve for Concierge Club members that are ready for you to decorate.  These are perfect if you are having oven dramas or just don’t enjoy the baking side of things.  

I want something special that is not in stock. Can you order it for me?

Absolutely! Our Cakewalk Chicago Concierge Club members can contact us and let us know what you need.  #LoriNemGotYou! If there is something you have been looking for but cannot find it our CCCC members can ask.  We source our products from around the world and represent many of the best brands in cake decorating and chocolate and may be able to source your special request fairly quickly. 


We also offer fabulous bulk order discounts on certain products – sometimes, we have enough quantity in stock to fulfil your bulk order immediately, but sometimes, these may have to be especially ordered in for you and may take a little longer to arrive.

Do you print edible images? 

Yes, and we are awesome at it!  You will find all the information you need on our Edible Image page.

Can I return an item?

No. Please choose your items carefully, as Cakewalk Chicago does not offer refunds for change of mind.  Refunds are only offered if we’ve made a mistake with your order.
