Hey Cakewalk Chicago Fam!

I can't believe that summer is already over! Here at Cakewalk Chicago, we've been busy spreading sweetness throughout the community. One minute I'm sweating through a cupcake decorating make-and-take at the 95th Street Farmers Market (check out some of our adorable decorators on our Instagram reel!), and the next I'm reaching for my favorite sweater while debating that classic Chicago question: is it too early to turn the heat on? Because if you can't see your breath in the kitchen is summer really over?? LOL

We've partnered with Chicago Commons to introduce senior adults to the fun and engaging world of pastries. I've been working one-on-one with weekly activities creating delicious snacks. No kitchen required! Our goal is to help them discover the joy of playing with food and creating personalized treats. We've also been and assembling and donating birthday cake kits to the Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry – because everyone deserves a proper birthday celebration! And get ready to fall head over heels for our freshly made caramel blocks and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate arriving in late October!
